Cross Technology Solutions is a Swedish Medtech innovation company that has developed the eHealth platform LifePod for remote monitoring of patients with chronic conditions or other needs that require continuous or long-term follow-up. The platform is classified CE IIa, has clinical evidence, health economic evidence and has been awarded several times. LifePod identifies and automatically grades which patients who have the greatest medical priority/needs by using a unique prioritization function and smart algorithms. This is presented for the healthcare provider in a powerful graphical decision support interface. Health care providers can focus resources on the patients with most needs by remotely managing large patient groups where patients use tailored apps and sensors, to manage their health condition. LifePod is used by primary and specialist care, within a vast number of diagnostic areas such as cardiovascular diseases (arrhythmia, heart failure, myocardial infarction, left ventricular assist device – LVAD, heart transplanted, hypertension etc.), kidney failure, post-surgical follow-up, COPD etc. The platform is adaptable and scalable with a medical grade parameter library of more than 50 parameters, enabling capability to be adaptable to many tailored setups for different diagnosis or combinations of diagnosis (e.g. multi chronic patients), but also enabling easy adaptation of completely new parameters. The platform has been used by health care and patients for many years, with some patients using it for more than thousand days. One of the key components are the rule-based AI-capability to manage, refine, present and prioritize “action data” enabling decision support for health professionals to, when needed, act on fast moving data indicating patient deterioration in health within the principle: “You can’t prevent, if you can’t take action”. We offer the above including hands on data analysis capacity and a user driven development mindset and understanding of tech, regulatory, patient and healthcare perspectives. We are easy going and solution oriented. We have a great interest in “patient data bank accounting” and to be a key part of the greater picture in collaborations and partnerships with like-minded companies and academia.
