OpenLogger Systems AB
OpenLogger is an open IoT-based measurement and monitoring service that connects sensors and medical equipment to one and the same platform. All data are collected and presented in the same system, avoiding or bridging digital islands. All events and call for actions in the system are displayed and handled in the same way with full traceability. This saves time, is easy to understand and the risk of mistakes is reduced. The openness of OpenLogger enables the user to connect different types of machines and sensors from different manufacturers and benefit from the rapid IoT development. The system creates a chain between sensors, machines, routines and vendors that ensure efficiency, safety and facilitate quality management. This makes OpenLogger ideal for R&D. Aim with CRAN partnership: providing a software platform to jumpstart implementation of medical devices, sensors (including AI cameras, GPS senors, on/off, open/close, temperature, gases, tracking of inventory and people etc.) with possibility to full traceability and quality management (i.a authorization levels, calibration and routines). Used radio technology are LoRa (Long Range Radio), BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) to LoRa, WiFi and 5G.
Type of expertise/capacity sought:
Companies that are interested in research on health-related IoT solutions in rural areas based on generic software and, Long range radio (LoRa) and, if needed, in combination with short range radio Bluetooth (BLE, Bluetooth Low Energy). The software is today implemented in several hospitals and laboratories. LoRa is an optimal candidate for implementation in areas with difficult access or without the possibility of connecting to traditional networks and is associated with low costs and energy consumption. The BLE protokoll is often used in small wireless battery-powered transmitters.
