We have delivered HOPE Databroker for Swedens Innovation Ministry VINNOVA’s Winter project, see https://www.vinnova.se/en/m/winter/. The aim of this project was to further develop, package and deliver the modern data management platform “HOPE” as a hub for the entire information flow for diabetic patients entire health journey, healthcare, innovation industry actors. The purpose was further to support a more efficient, integrated and patient-centered cohesive diabetes care based on the needs of the patient, healthcare and the innovation actors. The goals have been and the project was delivered in July 2022 delivering in all areas (platform, e-services, administration and legal analysis) according to expected results and within a given time frame. The product HOPE Databroker is the basic component of the product suite HOPE – a versatile platform for developing and integrating software products within the focus of the welfare, healthcare, life science industry and research with a particular focus on patient engagement. HOPE Databroker provides functions for storing, retrieving and communicating medical data and for patient communication. And all this with strict security and regulatory compliance requirements including authentication, disclosure decisions and patient consents.
